Thanks to Laverne for a wonderful book club/lunch.  We have chosen to read a novel by Ree Drummond aka The Pioneer Woman, called Black Heels to Tractor Wheels.  Be careful.  This is not one of her cookbooks.  It's available in paperback and on Nook or Kindle.

Kindle Library

Those of you who own a Kindle may already know this but Amazon now has a free lending library with over 145,000 books.  The catch is, you have to purchase an Amazon Prime membership for $79 a year.  Then you can borrow books as frequently as a book a month with no due dates.  Not sure if this would interest anyone - the Benjamin Franklin library is still the cheapest/best deal - but wanted to let you know.

Lunch this Week

I am so sorry to fill up your in-boxes with my crazy emails. Thanks to Nese however, I think we now have the correct schedule. I missed Laverne's request for August but now have that on the schedule - so we are ready for the year. Jenny does not have a month to host, so if you find you need help for your month you may want to try her.
